
Release 25.2
We are happy to announce that VidiNet's Release 25.2 is finally out. With it come a series of updates and features focused on improving existing workflows as well as extending the capabilities of VidiNet's solutions. Managing media, searching and finding the right material, as well accelerating from story creation; every step of the way. And with each release we like to raise the bar.
So without further ado, here are some highlights from VidiEditor and MediaPortal. The Release page on our knowledge base is available for a comprehensive overview of all the changes.
VidiEditor
Here are some of VidiEditor’s which made their debut with the latest release. Some standout features include the ability to set up multiple image grabbing workflows, a streamlined auto-save function that comes with better error handling, and enhancements to VidiCore Search refactoring to improve search performance. Plus, there’s a fresh media player design and the ability to create project templates for those recurring tasks.

MediaPortal
This release is packed with some exciting updates for both MediaPortal and ConfigPortal! One of the major changes is the revamped metadata structure for ConfigPortal, which now has a minimum version requirement of 25.2. We're also introducing the Camera Card Ingest - Non-Stitched Mode, providing a fresh workflow option for ingesting camera cards. On top of that, the HiRes Playout feature is here to elevate your video playback experience with direct server control. We've fine-tuned user settings to create a more seamless experience, and the integration with TwelveLabs v1.3 is sure to boost the capabilities of our AI-powered video search.
